Miranda Boyer joins CSGNA in the capacity of National Administrator. She has recently joined Innovative Conferences & Communications as a Senior Event Planner, and as part of her role, she will be helping with the 2016 CSGNA national conference, and spearheading the 2017 conference. Miranda comes to us with over 15 years of experience in the hospitality field. Most recently she was an Event Manager at the Westin Ottawa.  Previous to that, she was on the event planning teams of the Marriott Ottawa and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada....

I have had the opportunity to sit in on a lecture on creating poster presentations through a university and I thought it would be very valuable to share what I learned with our members. The purpose of making a research poster is to give a visual summary of a proposal or findings. It is used to facilitate conversation among peers and it looks good on a resume!
