Dr. Pinto-Sanchez is a Gastroenterologist and Clinician Nutrition Specialist, and an active medical staff in the Gastroenterology Division at McMaster University and Hamilton Health Sciences where she provides consultation services in the area of Gastroenterology and Nutrition. She is the director of the Celiac Clinic at McMaster University, leads the Intestinal failure and calorimetry clinic and provides support to the HPN program. Her clinical and research interest include the diagnosis and treatment of different gastrointestinal inflammatory conditions with a focus on nutrition, and chronic inflammatory GI conditions.
